Weekly One-on-one sessions

This is the cost per session for folks who commit to a weekly, hour-long session during the regular school year. If we’re working together for the first time, I ask that you commit to at least four sessions and pay for those up front. After that, I ask for two weeks’ notice if you plan to stop meeting weekly. This rate may vary depending on course content and amount of prep involved. Students and families may also elect to meet for 45-minute sessions ($60). For students taking Pre-Calc and above, I recommend meeting for an hour.

Impromptu Sessions

This is the cost for an hour-long impromptu session during the regular school year. This rate may vary depending on course content. Longer sessions are available on request. Partner/Group sessions

This is the standard hourly rate per student for folks who schedule partner/group sessions on a weekly basis. The four-session commitment outlined above applies here as well. These sessions are one-hour long at minimum to ensure that individual students have time to ask questions. Disclaimer: partner/small group tutoring is an option in some cases, but it requires final approval on my end. Additional details about pricing will be sorted out via email / phone, and the hourly rate per student is subject to change depending on the course, group size, etc.

College coursework

The hourly rate for college coursework is given by the variable x. That is, the cost per hour depends on the course in which the student is seeking assistance.

enrichment / Coursework

This category includes summer courses and independent studies. The rate is variable to account for increased prep on my end. Some offerings (like complete courses) require significant planning, and so compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

one-on-one bundle of 5 impromptu sessions

This is an upfront payment for five impromptu, one-on-one sessions at a discounted hourly price. The sessions can be used at any point throughout the school year, so this is a good option for folks who aren’t looking to meet weekly. Please keep in mind that weekly appointments take precedent, so scheduling in advance is advised. The stated price applies to sessions of one hour in length, but a similar offering is available for 45-minute sessions.
